Privacy Policy — DocUtils

Effective date: <effective date>

DocUtils ("the app") is a document utility application. This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short: everything the app does is processed on your device, and your documents are not uploaded anywhere.

1. Information the app processes

The app lets you scan documents, convert images to PDF, convert PDF to images, recognise text from photos (OCR), and convert Office documents (.docx, .xlsx, .pptx) to PDF. All of this processing happens entirely on your device.

The documents, images and recognised text you work with are read by the app on your device and are never uploaded to any server operated by us or by any third party.

2. What is collected

The app does not collect, store or share your documents, images or recognised text. It does not create an account, does not require a login and does not show ads. It does not use analytics, crash reporting or user tracking, and we do not sell any data.

3. Permissions

The app declares three Android permissions:

The data-collection flags for Google SDKs are switched off in the app manifest. To be clear: although the app's permission list includes INTERNET, the app does not use it to upload anything.

4. On-device OCR

Text recognition runs with Google ML Kit's on-device recogniser. Google ML Kit may download language models through Google Play services; this download is handled by Google Play services, and no document content leaves your device in the process.

5. Data retention and deletion

Files you create stay in your own device storage — you choose where to save them, or share them yourself. The app keeps no copy on any server. Files the app keeps in its own private storage are removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the app. You can also delete individual files from your storage at any time.

6. Children's privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13 and is not designed to appeal to them. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

7. Your rights and how to contact us

Because the app does not collect your data, we hold no personal data to access, correct or delete. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: support@skyzeph.com

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published together with an app update, and the new effective date will be shown at the top. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
